'BATTLE HISTORY 666’ is an amusing, tongue-in-cheek anecdotal history of the 666 Air Observation Post Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force in the Second World War in northwest Europe. With personnel arriving from both the RCAF and Royal Canadian Artillery scattered across England to create a "new kind of unit" at the very end of hostilities, the men from 666 find plenty to write about: the food, the pay, the duties, lamenting their impending repatriation to Canada on the point-system, and relating the highs and lows of flying in an aerial staff taxi service through the summer of 1945 in post-war Holland is grist for everyone's literary mill, in BATTLE HISTORY 666.

Available in hardcopy on Lulu and electronic edition for Amazon Kindle.

Darrell Knight is also the author of "Pete Knight - The Cowboy King" and "Artillery Flyers at War", both available in hardcover and paperback editions.
